Opinions on juicing

Post by Tempie »

hello everyone! i was curious if anyone has tried juicing once a week to let their digestive system "rest." how did it go? i was thinking it would give me a lot of nutrients without all the fiber. Thanks for your thoughts!

whether it is juiced or cooked - too many ingredients in the one meal in the early stages of healing is an issue.

putting fruit in with a juice combo will make it high sugar
putting greens in with a juice combo may be an issue in early stages of healing.

if you juice up to 3 ingredients and have small quantity then it may be ok.

the other aspect to this - in the early stages of healing animal protein is the key part of healing the gut. while ever your gut is inflammed you wont absorb nutrients as well no matter what form they are in. the focus in the first stages should be on having good servings of animal protein each meal.

hope this helps
