VITAMIN D AND ENZYME QUESTION

Post by barbieAnn »

I was taking a gel capsule of vitamin D and believed it contained soy. Would a small amount like that have an effect? I am going to switch to a regular caplet.

I just wanted some info on enzymes - what exactly do they do and can anyone recommend one?

Thank you!

barbie,

That wouldn't work for most of us. Most of us find that contaminants in supplements are a major problem.

Enzymes are intended to help with digestion. Some people insist that they help, but when I tried an enzyme when I was recovering, It made me very, very sick (complete with projectile vomiting) for at least 4 or 5 days. So I can't recommend them.

Hi Barbie,

I can't recommend enzymes either. It seems because I wasn't breaking things down well or didn't have the right combination of bacteria I couldn't tolerate enzymes and I still can't tolerate them, don't know why. When I tried enzymes it gave me a stomach ache, much like how one would describe an acidic attack. After that by the time they made their way thru the Colon, it made my bum sore an raw
