Loved your’alls conversation. Lots of good thinking points. I was raised on garden food and hunted/fished meats and feel sorry for the kids being raised on “mc Donald’s”.

Thanks Gabes,

I do remember your post about the 7/9....it really holds a lot of truth to it too.

I'm doing much better in a lesser amount of time than I would have ever expected to after catching a cold. It has not turned into a chest cold, that is incredulous for me!

I think higher VitD levels in my body and maintaining simple supplements such as the Mag, Vit C, Potassium, B6 and Zinc plus my antihistamine have all kept the wheels turning and copious amounts of rest (not sleeping persay) just good down time, no Have To's.

Hugs
Erica

Hi Laura,

I lived off of garden food all my child hood...but with food intolerances now I suspect I could grow Carrots, Potatoes and maybe Corn, but all other things I'd probably kill due to how hot it gets in our area during the Summer and that is probably my only 'available' time to do a proper garden without wearing myself out.

I love to fish, but am finding seafood is a sometimes food for me. I think I'm going to encourage my husband to hunt Elk or Deer this fall like he used to 20 years ago....lol. I grew up around hunting but didn't get excited about doing it myself.
