I just tried to order Budez from All-Day Chemist. They no longer sell any packages larger than 90 capsules, so I placed an order for two 90 pill packages and one 60 pill package. When asked to provide my prescription, I left the field blank.
My order did not go through, so I tried again. I received the same message. Not only that, a half hour later, I got a phone call from someone with an Indian accent offering a $100,000 prize to me.
I then tried to order the medication through my GI's web portal, but it didn't go through, just as happened in November. I called his office, and the nurse noted that I hadn't visited the Dr. since June 2016, when he ordered a colonoscopy. She said the reason I couldn't place a renewal for the medication was because of the length of time since I visited him. He has done nothing to help me. The nurse asked if I'd had a colonoscopy and I replied No, because I had no symptoms of a problem and I'm 72 years old. I think the recommended cutoff age is 75.
I'll have to wait until tomorrow to see if he'll order the budesonide. If he doesn't, I don't know what I'll do. My old GI retired. He gave me a three-pill-a-day prescription for an entire year. I used that prescription for almost three years.
Has anyone else been required to give All-Day Chemist a prescription since December? I'm concerned that the opioid epidemic is creating stricter rules for ordering overseas.

I believe that prescription "requirement" has been listed there for several years but they've been ignoring it. Maybe they decided to try to enforce it. The opioid issue may indeed be causing some problems.
As I recall they always did limit orders to a 3-month supply because of customs regulations. Overseas drug orders have been illegal for many years but Customs has been looking the other way unless orders exceed a 3-month supply. Supposedly they assume that larger orders are from drug dealers, so larger orders are more likely to be confiscated.
An old prescription might work. Or an email might get results.
Maybe someone else who has ordered recently can offer some insight on this.
