Do we stop taking it prior to blood draw for testing?

Personally, I've never made any allowances for vitamin D. It might enhance accuracy very slightly if you skipped it the day of the draw, but in general, vitamin D is metabolized very quickly, so you shouldn't need to be concerned about tests. If you're testing any of the "B" vitamins, they're processed more slowly, so it's a good idea to stop taking them about a week before the draw to allow the various "B" vitamin forms in the body to stabilize.

At least that's my opinion.
