How to iterpret your raw data from 23andme

Post by tex »

There are many websites that will provide various ways to analyze your raw data from 23andme. Associated websites such as geneticgenie.org offer a free methylation analysis of your raw data to enable you to easily see how you might be affected by certain MTHFR gene mutations. Sites such as promethease.com offer a fairly detailed analysis of your 23andME data and provide various reports, including the statistical odds that you might develope certain diseases as a result of your genetic mutations. And there are many other services offered by other companies that will provide various analyses of your raw 23andMe data. Some reports are free while others are available for a fee. Such websites include livewello.com, codegen.eu, nutrahacker.com, infino.me, enlis.com, and geneknot.com.

Detailed reports including disease risk assessment - https://promethease.com/

I've never tried the rest, so I will just provide their URL below. Perhaps someone who has used their services can comment on them or suggest alternative or additional sites.

Thank you for summarizing this Tex!

I've used those first two with really good results, and learned a lot.
