You might luck out, but there's a risk that it will trigger colitis. Z-Pac might not be the best choice for the type of bacteria, but it might be the best choice for an IBD patient. Your doctor is probably guessing at the type of bacteria anyway, unless a culture was done.

That said, a sinus infection and bronchitis can lead to a serious situation if it's mishandled. It needs to be stopped as quickly as possible. Sometimes we have to do what we have to do.

It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.

This is something to contemplate, in addition to taking your antibiotics (which for us kills the healthy gut flora so its kinda counter productive, but this silver protocol may be something to consider....I know it has begun to help me in many ways (at least I feel it is) and I'm still a newbie to it).....and it may also help keep you from triggering the colitis. This is a NANO silver solution (not colloidal or ionic) the more I learn about this particular product the more I will find ways for it to help me in the future.

Antibiotic Alternative
According to Dr. Rustum Roy (Penn State University) silver is more broad-spectrum than anything found in the drug world or nature. This means structured silver kills more than just a tiny segment of bacteria, like antibiotics do. Structured silver kills all the bacteria except the healthy (probiotic) bacteria. This can happen because the healthy flora (lactobacillus) secretes a protective layer or lactobacillus around itself to protect against the acidic stomach acids. This protective layer prohibits the silver from rupturing the cell membrane because it cannot penetrate through the lactobacillus outer coating. This is demonstrated when a person takes antibiotics, and the action of the drugs kill the healthy flora, resulting in diarrhea. This is not seen when a person takes a quadruple dose of structured silver. In fact I have swallowed 8 ounces at one time (a 48 times normal dose) and never produced diarrhea. Remember it is the structured silver that improves antibiotic function and makes antibiotics up to ten fold stronger when taken with structured silver. It should be noted that a person taking silver daily (1 teaspoon 1-3 times a day) should destroy bacterium, viruses and yeast that cause the majority of illnesses, so you may never need to take an antibiotic again. According to a study performed by Nelson Labs, structured silver was found to completely kill all tested bacteria and cause NO resistance. This is important because it proves that structured silver is not going to cause the bacteria to get stronger or have the problems that plague antibiotic drugs.

Silver Biotics

Thank you Erica. Very interesting and it sounds great. Wondering if anyone else had tried it? If so please add your experience. I will definitely research it. It is such a scary process for us to take antibiotics. 🤗👋

Great info Erica!

I’ve taken colloidal silver, but haven’t heard of NANO.
I’ve used colloidal silve in a netipot for my chronic congestion issues.

I’ll have to do some research on it!
