Hi Good Buddies!

This is a true story, and I predict there won't be a dry eye on the board after viewing this.
Love,
Polly

Blessed are they who can laugh at themselves, for they shall never cease to be amused.

Jeez Polly,
If it was a movie, nobody would buy it! My husband stood behind me at the computer and watched it too. Still wiping tears . . . Marsha

You are right Polly!
I had even read about it before, but never saw the video - totally made me cry! More than seeing him succeed, seeing the crowd and his teammates *support* him is the part that really touched me the most...
He appeared to be a high-functioning autistic kid, able to articulate his feelings and all. I had a student with Asperger's about 13 years ago (before it was on the radar) and he couldn't have performed that well in an interview...
Thanks for making my day
Love,
Mary

Thanks for sharing Polly Wolly! I saw this on our local news and grinned from ear to ear then and did it again (besides wiping the tears).
Isn't it great when the newscasters highlight a wonderful story instead of all the depressing stuff!
Thanks again!
Love,
Mars
