Well that figures. It used to be a good hospital, but their patient care has gone downhill somewhat since they were bought out/taken over by a bigger hospital a couple of years ago.
Thanks for the insight.

That is blatantly ant patient care. To let you go home under 3 days is ridiculous when you have the problems you described to me. You should have seen a PT and an OT who would have written their evaluations and recommendations so you could stay the qualifying time so as to get time in a rehab center with (hopefully) good treatment is criminal in my book. Accident waiting to happen. If anything DOES happen (Heaven forbid) you MUST make sure you get what you deserve. THese are federal laws. Haven't been changed yet, though if the republicans have their way we will lose that too. They have voted to take 8o trillion bucks from Medicare. This is OUR money, that came from our paychecks every month. And them they want our social security surplus. Same applies. So we will have more of that behavior, and more poverty stricken old people who get no meducal care. It upsets me so much.
PLEASE be careful! I wish there was someway to get you evaluated!

I'll be okay. Thanks for your concern. A lot of things get too tall to step over as we get older, so we naturally have to learn to watch our step. The stroke just means that I have to watch a little more carefully.

Hi All!
Hey Lesley ---- I had a short episode of gerd a couple of years ago and I upped my D3 to 8,000-10,000 and it took care of it right away. When I had my level checked during a test I was still under 100. So try it! I still take 6,000-8,000.
Tex--- I read the above text. I hope you are doing Ok and you have family to help you. I think often of you! I am doing OK. Now and then I get a flare but manage to ride it by making changes and someway somehow I go back to normal.
Much love,
Monique

Hi Monique,
Good to hear from you, and thank you for confirming that vitamin D works for controlling GERD. I'm glad to hear that you're doing well and you're able to get things back under control whenever it becomes necessary. I've had to slow down a little, but I'm feeling well and really have nothing significant to complain about. Heck, if we didn't have any challenges in life now and then, imagine how boring that would probably be.
Much love,
Tex
