Is ginger ale ok?

Post by MamaFill »

Is ginger ale ok to have? I am only in the stage one diet. The nausea is so bad I am having a difficult time consuming anything. (Today, for instance, I've had a few sips of coffee, a couple bites of banana and water). I have always had ginger ale in the past when I felt nauseous, but I suspect it isn't a good idea now.

That's a good question. I was able to drink it when I was recovering, so you might be able to drink it too. It's probably worth a try if you feel that it will help with the nausea. I wouldn't overdo it, especially at first.

It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.

Thank you Tex. I did have some and it didn't make anything worse but it didn't really help either.
