Topical Magnesium Spray - Weird thing happened
So I've been using the topical magnesium for several weeks now with no issues. Sometimes legs or arms - sometimes belly. Last night before bed I sprayed it on my belly and rubbed it in like usual.
By the time I walked out of the bathroom it was itching a little but I didn't think much about it. I crawled into bed and the itching got worse. Within 2 or 3 minutes I couldn't stand it. It was severe and stinging a little too. I got up and went and washed it off and looked in the mirror and I had red splotches on my belly. Just seems so strange to me that it had never affected me that way before. So now I don' know if I can use it again.

In the magnesium 'sticky post' towards top of this page is key discussions about magnesium.
One of which is the spray stinging....

Wal, I ain't no allergist or nuthin, but that rash could be a horse of a different color. Gabes may be right, because initially magnesium oil or lotion sometimes stings, and raises bumps in the process (it has happened to me), but if that's the first time that it's happened to you (and you've used it a number of times before), that could be an allergic reaction. It's not common, but you may have developed an allergy to one of the inactive ingredients.
At least that's a possibility.

I haven't tried that brand....it was more expensive at the time when I was beginning to heal....I am trying a bit more expensive brand in the ReMag and it doesn't have any fragrance and it absorbs very nicely without any residue. It also has a nice strength to it and I haven't gotten any rash from it, and I've been pretty high alert skin wise this last year.
