It's a holistic form of testing and treating various conditions and deficiencies, and it's kind of "out there".... the medical society totally discounts it and calls it hogwash, but part of me wonders if there might be something to it. I've seen the doc doing it for me 3 times now and I'm still on the fence, but some of the things he said and did really made me think this might be real. But it seems so hokey that it's hard to buy, at least for most people.
I've been trying for weeks to find a forum or some discussion groups that talk about it but there really are none out there. I have found a few posts but they are pretty old. NRT is also known as muscle testing and / or kinesiology.
I figured if there were any forum that was open minded enough to have tried it or read about it it would be this one.

Diagnosed November 2004, Used Asacol and Lialda, sometimes worked, sometimes made it worse. Entocort always works but hate it. Remission only lasts 3-6 months and then back on Entocort. Enterolab test July 2017, now gluten free. Time will tell!

While you're waiting for responses from others who have tried this, you might peruse these threads:
Here's a thread from earlier this year:
https://perskyfarms.com/phpBB2/viewtopi ... inesiology
These two are from 2012:
https://perskyfarms.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=17343
https://perskyfarms.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=16946
Or just do a search of the archives for "muscle testing" or kinesiology. You'll get a lot of hits on muscle testing.

It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.
Thanks for always jumping in, Tex..... I have no idea what this forum and the members would do without you.
Checked out the links (thank you) and will re-do all my searches using the term "muscle testing" instead. I guess a rose by any other name . . . :)
Seems lots of folks are on the fence about alternative methods since there is not enough validate-able evidence that it works or doesn't work. Like anything else, you have to try it and judge for yourself. While I was debating going into this program (why is it always so darned costly!) I ran into my favorite doctor of all time (who retired a few years ago). I asked his opinion and he warned me that he was raised, educated, and trained to discount "all that stuff" as hogwash. So he reminded me, as he did for 30 years, that if it can't cause any harm and MIGHT help, try it!
That's what I'm doing, but with all the forums on the internet these days I'm amazed I can't find more support or discussion. I'll have to keep trying all the other search terms or phrases that it may be known as.
