Functional Doctor in Minnesota

Post by DeeDee »

Does anyone have any recommendations for a functional medicine doctor and alternative doctor, naturopath, integrative, or whatever they are called, doctor in Minnesota? I decided to taper off the budesonide as I believe it is causing multiple side effects. It did work to stop the D but its been almost a year and this is my second round. My GI follows the Mayo info and will prescribe other meds for me to try. He doesnt think blurry vision, hair loss and acne are side effects, but I see they are listed on the website. My blood tests were fine. My PCP says hair loss is natural. I don’t like that answer. Any suggestions?

I have some friends that swear by Dr. Irestone in Burnsville MN. I have enclosed a link to his clinic website below.

I have not personally seen him, but can only speak to what others have told me about him. I think he has kind of a long wait to see him though because of his popularity. He is a very holistic doctor that digs down to determine root cause of your symptoms/health issues.

Best of luck to you DeeDee!
