coconut yogurt

Has anyone tried coconut yogurt when eating at Stage 1? or it is mandatory to keep to only that which I saw listed by Stage 1 suggestions?

Coconut Milk Yogurt

Post by MamaBeabs »

Coconut milk yogurt is a mainstay with me. I have no intolerance to it. If having it for breakfast I generally add something else like half a gluten free English muffin with peanut butter, maybe a small bowl of melon. Around here we have only So Delicious brand so I can't be very choosy.

If the coconut yoghurt has no additives, ie soy or sugar etc then yes it should be ok.

Main thing with stage 1 eating plan is that it is a guideline. Everyone is different, and what ingredients are available to each persons local area is different.
Also listen to your body. It will tell you if something's is ok or not.

Hi Gabes, I really like how you define diet in terms of stages. It is a welcome reminder for me that I am in the very early part of stage 1. You are gracious to share your insights to us newbies.
