Starfire....
This short time I was on Budesonide (4 months) I was stunned at my weight gain...2-3 pounds a week....it's not as easy to lose either!

Great post, Jean. Sometimes I get so depressed over being sick, I want to leave this world. I want peace, therefore I see a therapist. He told me stress causes many diseases and problems. I am sick of being sick. I'm learning to be calm and trying to be happy. It's hard when you have so many diseases, stress and strife. I feel like a female JOB.

I was on Prednisone for four (4) months because of BOOP Pneumonia. My lungs were white with inflamation. BOOP does kill. Gained weight that finally came off by eating no carbs, no soy, no milk and minimal fruit. Less food means less insulin so the weight is leaving, thank goodness. Insulin is a growth hormone and will make you put on weight if you take large amounts. I am with you 100%. You are one strong girl, Jean. Congrats
