heliobacter pylori
Hi all,
I wonder if anyone has an experience with the bacteria heliobacter pylori.
My gi has tested my blood on this bacteria and found antibodies.
My complaints are that I have nausea in the morning.
I also have the last half year rather often severe stomach pain, but I thought that was because I was eating or drinking something on an empty stomach. (I didn't tell my gi,)
I have been using a stomach protector for the last month. I had twice problems with that medicine during the night: severe pain in my esophagus and chest, which disappeared after I had raised my bed at the headend. I think this is the kind of pain, wherefore people use the stomach protector, but in my it looks like it causes it.??
My gi prescibes antibiotics and I have to continue the stomach protector.
If anyone knows something about this subject, I would appreciate to hear this.

HELICOBACTER PYLORI
Hi Sonja,
Recently my wife was diagnosed with overgrowth of Helicobacter Pylori. His doctor ordered three kinds of antibiotics and an exophageal protector. It was a painful treatment. After completing the treatment , her test still showed the overgrowth had not dissapeared.
We did a research in internet and she followed a natural treatment, taking part of the things we found and we thought were safe. After two months, her test showed the overgrowth of Helicobacter Pylori had dissapeared. Of course we can´t say this was due to the natural treatment, we are not doctors, but the fact is that she is ok. now
You can get some information typing in Google : Fresh Broccoli Sprouts, Green Tea, Ginger, Red Wine, Black Forest Honey, Fungus, Vit. C,K2,D3, Vinegar, Curcumin, Blueberries Juice, Propolis , Mastic Gum, Lactobacillus-Bifidus.
When typing each item of this list, type Helicobacter Pylori and NIH too.
Good luck,
Enric

EUROPEU
Hi Enric
Thank you for this information. I'm glad your wife is ok now. Unfortunately I can not take the most of the things you mention, because of my foodsensitivities, but some I can take and I will look if I can find them.
I also started with the antibiotics, because I realized thinking back that I have this stomach problems for almost two years and they became slowly more severe. I misinterpreted them because I related them to my MC /IBS and the food I ate.
Thank you once again.

I had H Pylori and this is how she told me to take the antibiotics. I was on two antibiotics.
Start the first one and midway through the first course, begin the second one. It stretches out the meds to be sure to get all of it out of your body. I tested twice after taking the meds and I was clear. I took the proton pump for 6 months, the pharmacist warned me that I'd be on it for a long time and he was right.
My nutritionist is all for natural remedies, she had the supplements on hand if I wanted to go that route but she advised against it. She said that H Pylori should be treated agressively. I think you should call your doctor and discuss to see if there is another option.

Thank you Diana,
I already discussed it with my doctor and my pharmacist. They both insisted that I should take the antibiotics, considering my complaints. I have two antibiotics and the proton pump for seven days. After that I have to take a promo pump for two months, but my pharmacist agreed with me that I can try to stop earlier, for example after a month.
