Thanks,

I've pointed that out (that MC is a blessing in disguise in many/most cases) at least several times in various posts over the years. So that was pretty much where I was headed with the book. Now that I'm aware of that interview, I may have to make a few changes in the dialogue, but at least I should be able to avoid any plagiarism problems.

Speaking of plagiarism, the entire idea of plagiarism is kind of a goofy concept. After all, there's really nothing new in the world. Everything is a variation on a theme from the past. All novels (at least all successful novels) follow the same recipe established by the ancient Greeks when they first started writing stories. For some reason or other, we (or at least the word police) arbitrarily decided that by rearranging words, we're avoiding plagiarism. Are we really?

It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.
