Against All Grain "Real Deal Chocolate Chip Cookies&quo

Post by Marcia K »

Hello. I just made Against All Grain's "Real Deal Chocolate Chip Cookies." Wow, they're good. I don't want to post the recipe because it's copyrighted and I don't know how to post the link. If you google the title you'll find the recipe. I've been meaning to make them since I bought the cookbook a few years ago, but I always ate the Enjoy Life chocolate chips before I had time to make them! Ironically today is National Gluten-Free Day, which I didn't know earlier. The cookies are as good as the ones made by a friend of mine and I have missed them so much. If you don't have all of the ingredients, I purchase most of them on Vitacost. Enjoy!

You're welcome, Brandy. I'm glad I'm not alone in the chocolate chip indulgence. The recipe made around 15 cookies, which is probably a good thing!

Definitely not alone in the chocolate chip eating, Marcia and Brandy! I keep a bag of Enjoy Life chocolate chips on hand at all times.
Thanks for the tip on the recipe.
I will check it out.

Hi, Carol & Janie. Chocolate chip lovers unite! I just ordered some on Vitacost. They're less expensive than my grocery store & Vitacost is 15% off until tomorrow morning (code NY2019). I made some coconut milk ice cream to take to a baby shower at work tomorrow and a few chocolate chips would have been an added touch, but unfortunately there aren't any in the house.

I love the chocolate chips also. I have another recipe that I really like but I'm game to try this one too. Here's the link:

Good to know about Enjoy Life chips. I am not a big sweet eater but I found a chocolate bar at Whole Foods that is dairy, soy and gluten free. Very good! TAZA Chocolate. Organic dark chocolate with coconut is what I bought.

Ingredients: Organic cocoa beans, organic cane sugar, organic coconut, organic cocoa butter, sea salt, organic vanilla beans. It may have traces of almonds, cashews, hazelnuts and pecans.

Thanks for posting the link, Jari. I hope you're doing well.

I'll have to try the Taza chocolate, Susan. Since I have LC I really don't miss cake, but I missed chocolate when I was first diagnosed. I can tolerate small amounts of Lindt 90%, too.
