Hi Vanessa,

Great to see a post from you. How are you these days? Any chance of an update? Both newbies and oldbies love to see updates.

Yes! Tex!

I am very glad to see you doing well. I feel guilty about not posting and being of service to the newcomers.
When you start feeling better and you've thought about nothing but your gut for the past 5 years, the last thing you want to do is think about it some more

I've been doing great gut wise. NEWBIES!......I never thought I would feel good again. A couple years into the diet, I thought that was as good as it's gonna get. This is not so. Your wellness will kind of sneak up on you....Kind of like the illness did. "As strange as it came, it left just the same" Suddenly you realize you feel like your old self again and even better than you did before because your body isn't under constant assault.

I've been doing some needed work on my mental/emotional body as anxiety seems to want me as a close companion. But I've learned EVEN MORE about her and take her along for the ride. We went to Niagra Falls last October and it was awesome. My real vacation since diagnosis. That was a big step for me. It was a very freeing experience to know I can survive outside my bubble and not get sick. I did not have one bad restaurant experience.

I think of all of you often and don't know where I'd be without your help.

Vanessa, I loved reading your post! Yes, there is life after MC. While I am not as far along in my journey (2 years), I know the joy of improving and improving and getting ones life back.

Thanks. You have provided hope for many newbies.

As a nervous newbie, this is very encouraging.

Thank you!
