Cat’s Claw

Post by Texfiend »

I went to see my nutritionist, whom I haven’t seen in years, about my histamine and gut issues. She recommended I take Cat’s Claw twice a day. She says it’s really good for colitis and acts as a anti-inflammatory. Has anyone used it before?

my observation of others here is that herbs etc that work for other IBD's do not work the same for MC.

as per the information we have in the guidelines to recovery, in the early stages of healing, Vit D3 and magnesium are the key items to help reduce inflammation and maximise healing

for histamine issues, B6 (via the active form P5P), and magnesium are of much more benefit than any of the herbs.

Thank you Gabes. I took Boswellia for awhile as they say it also is good for IBD. Didn’t do a thing for me. I’m on board with the P5P and D. I have the ionic magnesium, but am afraid to try it. I’ve been using the oil right now.
I have been reading your posts on magnesium. I bought Dr. Dean’s book.
Thanks for the feedback.
