Paul, I do believe I have them both. I had stomach bloating with no symptoms as a kid around two years old. Silent Celiac. No diarrhea as I remember, but bloating and canker sores in my mouth was prevelant. I saw a picture of myself as a child and my dress was tight as a tick and I'm holding my bloated stomach and crying. I'm on a pier on the water and my Mom is posing for the camera. My mother had to know, but I never saw a doctor. Mom was too busy working and taking care of my sick father. Now I know I have MC because of the biopsy report. How do you feel? I'm having a horrible time with inflammation and the Big D! I get brain fog and severe depression and I'm usually happy considering my life was rough as a kid! Dorothy
Interesting study, Paul. Thanks for sharing. The evidence that pro-inflammatory cells remain in the bowel is a step toward finding effective treatment interventions, I would think.
