Most people mistakenly think that the FDA is a consumer-oriented organization. It's not. It has always existed for the benefit of big business.

They certainly resolved this problem with typical disdain for consumers, didn't they.

I don't dare buy ground anything from Wal-Mart. An ex-employee informed me they put fillers into meat at the store. I think I am going to buy a grinder like we had as a kid and grind up my own meat. I know of a place in the country that sells their own meat. This pink slime will kill us.

Just a thought, KitchenAids have a grinder attachment that works well. I have one of the old-fashioned ones too but they take a lot of work!
