Kathy and Alice Lunch # 2

Post by Alice »

Hi everyone,

Kathy and I just had lunch again - this time at Panera. I can eat the salads there. We had a good time - and discovered more things we have in common! What a small world - we both have many family ties to St. Paul.

When she returns from her upcoming world travels we're going to lunch again! I'll let her fill you in on the trips.

Love,
Alice

The sweater Alice was wearing came from the gift shop at the hospital in St. Paul--the very same hospital gift shop where my aunt was a volunteer for at least 20 years! Teeny tiny world.

:circle: (Couldn't find an icon of the world so this is us reaching all the way around it--giving it a big hug!)

My sister manages the gift shop and supervises the volunteers. But she wasn't there when Kathy's aunt was. Still, what a coincidence! One of her volunteers is 91 - could have been Kathy's aunt.

Hi Kathy,

I think this smilie is supposed to represent the earth, but it's not a very good one. I haven't had much luck finding a better one.

It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.

That's a fine earth, Tex! Thank you. It's small, and that is just the point Alice and I were making!
