If that's all there is to the pathology report, then it's probably never going to be accepted by most gastroenterologists. It's possible that there are some pages missing. Look at the page numbers. Are they complete? Or does it look like some pages are missing?

Gabes,

That is how I feel. I was so sick after that colonoscopy and I didn't feel as bad as I do now. I can't imagine, being under 95 pounds and having another one of these tests, when I already feel so sick and weak. I really don't know what to do at this point. Everything I'm reading, points to LC, the loose stools, the incontinence, nausea, gas - it kills me that I will have to endure this test once again, and be told I have LC? I mean maybe there is another diagnosis, I'm lost ......

Then why don't you just forget about the health care system and all it's inefficiencies and ordeals, and just treat the disease yourself? Most GI docs don't understand how to treat the disease successfully, anyway. Just eliminating that worrying about a colonoscopy and/or a doctor will cut your stress level way down. Stress is a major cause of inflammation.

That was why I asked the question - if you embrace the eating plan, lifestyle changes, supplements etc encouraged here, it doesnt matter if you have LC or not, the approach works for ALL IBD issues.

the main aim is to reduce inflammation and optimise the body for healing.

Several members have not had formal diagnosis. I believe JFR who posts occasionally was one of them. She was simply burnt out with the medical profession after suffering for 20 years.

Do you have watery diarreah 3-20 times per 24 hours, early morning watery diarreah? No blood?

Check out Gabes starting out diet. Get going on this. Diet is key. Believe me....8 weeks of diet I had
serious improvements....softserve, manageable, once a morning.

Do you want drugs to help you in the beginning? My PCP was willing to prescribe cholestyramine to me
just by me mentioning ongoing D. (No colonoscopy)

It is a pretty benign drug and helps a lot of folks.

Have you been on any of the prescription drugs? Did GI doc #1 prescribe budesonide and have you
been on it?

Consider start today on Gabes food plan. Schedule dr. appointment for 8-12 weeks out (not colonoscopy)
Believe me, you should see improvements if you implement Gabes food plan 100% with no cheating.

Diet is very, very key. The drugs can help us while we are working on the diet but ultimately
the diet is key.

also - cholestryamine that many here have used with success, is also available via compound pharmacy, you dont need a script! if anything it is a good way to go, as it is pure, no additives.
