You are surely right about the internet, Tex, and how times have changed!! I'm very thankful that my children were finishing up high school when the internet was still young and smart phones weren't yet a thing. I wouldn't want to raise a child now, though I do have a granddaughter to worry about.
How nice that you did enjoy a tight-knit group for a time. I'm sure it was fun and informative! I belong to more than a few groups and sympathize with people getting tired of answering the same questions time and again. (I tried the 'search' function before asking most of my questions, for what it's worth. No criticism but too bad the search feature doesn't take you directly to the comments containing the 'search' words, within the post. It's hard to find something within 10 pages of comments) *Please don't think I'm devaluing the time you took to write out your through reply, I truly appreciate it! <3 *
I don't know yet if pork is safe. Other than bacon and ham I wouldn't care, never was a big pork fan. I'll try some tonight, wish I could say I'll let you know the results tomorrow but I realize it doesn't work that way.

The search function should highlight the words you searched for in red within the posts, so you should be able to scroll down through the thread relatively quickly until you come to one or more posts that contain the highlighted words.
