About New York

Post by Liz »

Thinking seriously about New York & have been looking at fares etc. There is a huge difference between the cost of economy & business class & don't know if I can afford that. My friend advised me to go economy for the domestic legs & business for the international which reduces the cost by about $3.000. Robert is urging me to do it & my friend Trixie says that I HAVE to. There is one offer at the moment for the flight & 4 days accomodation for $2249. Hmmmmm.

A little worried about travelling on my own & told Trixie that the only place I had been overseas on my own was Papua New Guinea & she reckons that if I can go there on my own I can go anywhere. Got a bit of time to make up my mind though. It is a long way to the other side of the world.

Hi Liz......you can do it. New York is Impressive. Mike and I went there while we were on a job in South Hackensak. We met some neat people there. Hope you find a good fare. Love Oma

Wow! I hope you can make it. I ended up saving a few $$ going through a travel agent. I was really surprised I couldn't find a good deal, or good flight times, on cheaptickets.com. I use the agent for work-related travel and she was more than happy to get me a deal for personal travel. I called her and had the e-ticket within ten minutes.

Hugs
