Two Things
Hello everyone. I was wondering about people’s experiences with two things:
1. If you are sensitive to eggs, do you find it matters what form? i.e. An egg cooked whatever style vs baked into a cake? I’m nervous to experiment when things are going well.
2. I was in a car accident recently and the doctor prescribed naproxen for the musculoskeletal pain in my chest and back and in general. I think it’s making my gut flare up a bit, so I’ve now been prescribed celebrex. Does anyone have experience with this?
Thank you!

(((((Hugs))))) because you were in a car accident. I am not sensitive to eggs so can't offer experience with that.
Several years ago I was taking Mobic and Celebrex (not at the same time). My insurance substituted the generic for one of them without consulting me. I had to get the doctor to write a prescription not allowing substitution. My insurance put a note on my account to not substitute without contacting me. That way I had an opportunity to ask if the filler for a medication had gluten.

I'm sorry to hear about your accident and hope that you get well soon!
I am sensitive to eggs. For me, the reaction is the same regardless of how they are prepared or what additional ingredients they are mixed with. You can try alternate bird eggs e.g. duck, quail as many people who haven't been able to eat chicken eggs can eat alternate eggs. I found through trial and error that I'm currently sensitive to them all.

I am sensitive to eggs. I no longer eat them no matter how they are cooked. I too do not want to chance experimenting. I did try duck eggs once and had the same reaction I have to chicken eggs. So now I just avoid all eggs no matter how they are cooked. I'm a better safe than sorry type of person.

My Enterolab results showed that I am sensitive to eggs. I don't eat them anymore. I do, however, bake with them and have no issues. I use them in cakes, cookies, breads, etc. Have not had a problem with that.
