Alaska Trip

Post by TXBrenda »

Hello everyone. I do not post very often but read everyone's posts regularly.

My daughter and I will be leaving Amarillo Sunday afternoon to fly to Anchorage, AK. We will be visiting my niece and her family that live near Wasilla. I will be taking some GF food with me but I'm looking forward to eating fish and seafood there.

We will return Friday. I will share some pictures.

Take care.

Yup, have a great trip! And definitely post some pics.

It is always good to hear about hopefully positive experiences of traveling with MC.

Gives the rest of us confidence to pack our bags! At almost 2 years in since my diagnosis, I am just starting to get to that stage of considering some longer term travel.

I hope you really enjoy the trip. It should be nice up there this time of year.

My niece and her family do not eat a lot of processed food. They eat what they catch and kill. They have a garden and a greenhouse on their property.

I was diagnosed in 2003 and made several business trips when I was working full time. Not only is this the first airline trip in about 7 years, it is the longest trip I have ever taken.

Thanks Tex. Current forecast for next week shows highs in the 70s and lows in the 50s. Forecast for rain has lightened up a little bit. You know how that goes, lol.
