A new study has found that the use of the acne medication isotretinoin, (Accutane), is associated with an increased risk of Inflammatory Bowel Disease, (IBD), which, of course, has long been suspected.

Study Shows Accutane Associated With Increased Risk Of IBD
It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.
I'm sorry that you got caught up in that. It should have been removed from the market many years ago. Your doctor should have mentioned that risk to you if you got it by prescription, because that research was published over ten years ago.

Yes it is horrible, my case it was so strange, I mentioned the doctors about Accutane and all of them told me that it had nothing to do with that. But while on treatment, it suddenly became the W D, I starting losing weight. Since then, I am not been able to gain any, my studies indicates malabsorption, gastrtis, inflmated duodenum, it has been a nigthmare. Sometimes I feel like I am gonna day. They can not find the reason why a loss so much weight, Vitamn B12 >4000 I think that accutane made a mess in my whole organism. Also losing chunks of hair. I feel lost
