Well we are on the last leg of our vacation---

Doug is very upset to see us leave--he wishes all the family could be living right next door to each other--

And we are clearing out and packing things we dont need---
Then getting ready for Phoenix--

So shall pop in when I have FREE time to chat and laugh with U all--

Hate packing. Bet you will be glad to be back in your own nest again. There is no place like home no matter how great a holiday is. It is hard when your family are spread out all over the place. You miss them so much. We are looking forward to seeing Judy, Balan & the kidlets in a couple of weeks too. We leave on the 4th april. Judy was so busy with her exams last time we went over but it should be more relaxed this time. She graduated in December with her degree of education. That along with her degree from the conservatorium should give her the credentials to get a good job when she is ready. Still settling into their new house after shifting from Dunedin to Christchurch. She should have more opportunity to sing in Christchurch also. This is a pic taken after her graduation. I think it is a beautiful photo.

They left Dunedin on a real high as Balan also was awarded 'Anaesthetics Registrar of the Year' & received a standing ovation at a dinner before they left. He really is a lovely, caring man & deserves any accolades that he gets.

Judy sang at her graduation ceremony & there were a lot of flabbergasted people who did not know that she possessed such a wonderful voice. That is another thing that I miss so much when they are so far away. When she was in Australia I used to go to every performance that Judy was in. A sort of opera & Choral groupie I am.

Even attended her exams when she was at the Conservatorium.

Judy is so beautiful---and how proud U have to be---and Balan achieving this step in life---

How Xciting--and Judy sings as well----I dont remember if U had told me that before---
Heck, I would be @ all these songs fests if any of my kids could warble a happy tune---Im with U on that~~~~

Grand family there Liz-----my pleasure to have U *introduce* them to us---
