New Shingles shot
Just wondering about the new shingles shot. I’m considering it, but have heard good and bad outcomes. Would appreciate this great groups input.
Here are links to a couple of recent threads about it:

It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.
Shingles shot
Thank you for the feedback. I guess it is a crap shot about taking it. I think I will consider it. I do get a flu shot every year and no problem.

If you've ever had shingles or known someone that has had it, they will tell you how very painful it can be.
I already have a neuropathic pain condition (Complex Regional Pain Syndrome). With CRPS, my central and sympathetic nervous systems are a little out of order already. So I certainly don't need shingles as it can lead to a long term neuropathic pain condition called Post Herpetic Neuralgia, which can last for months, years or can be permanent with some unlucky folks.
I'll take the shingles vaccine, thank you very much. And this new one is touted to be so much more efficient than the old one. I had shot #1 about a month ago and will be getting shot #2 in another month. Just a sore arm for a day or two from the first shot.
Zero effect on my colitis.
