AKLynx, it’s truly is a journey of one thing at a time and often ‘two steps forward and one back’. I agree you will have to deal with and recover from your car accident first. And if that’s all the mental energy you have then that’s okay. It’s the best you can do. It will change and it will get better. Stick to your diet plan, de-stress as much as you can, and rest when you can. Pacing ourselves is a very important part of healing and getting to remission.
Acupuncture has gotten me to see that there is a wisdom to the body and if we can get quiet it will tell us what it needs— like those times when you think about napping but you realize that taking a walk is what you really want. You get the idea. It sounds like you are already on a good path to better health. It just takes time.
