Mouth Sores

Hi! Recently I have been noticing that I have mouth sores, they come and go very quickly, sometimes one day are on and the following are gone? Is this normal, does anyones get them?

Mouth sores are very common with active MC. While I was reacting, I had them regularly. Since I've been in remission, I haven't had any.

Oil pulling will help. I’d advise you to use (real) olive oil. Min 20 min every morning before breakfast. Don’t swallow it ;) but spit it out in a trash can and follow it with your normal dental routine.

I started getting mouth sores from the very beginning my PCP did not know what was causing them but told me to use clotrimazole cream (athletes foot cream) and it would be gone in 3 days I still get them from time to time but it just clears up on its own.

As best I can recall, mine usually didn't last much longer than 3 days, anyway, without any treatment.

When my sister was going through chemo, her whole digestive tract was like hamburger. She pulled with virgin coconut oil every day to help heal her mouth.
It has antimicrobial qualities and it is very soothing. I pulled for a long time too, and my hygienist commented on how little plaque I had. You have to spit into garbage tho, not down the drain or your pipes will get clogged!
We buy the Carriage Trade brand from Costco in the giant tubs. Big fan of coconut oil for many things. It makes an awesome butter replacement in baking too.
