Flu Recovery
I'm on day 8 of the hellacious viral infection known as the flu. I got hit particularly bad, with my temp hitting 105 on day 2. I was finally feeling better yesterday, but today I feel like a double decker hit me (and my GI system is all screwed up today- hello diarrhea). I know this will be a long road to recovery. Any tips from anyone that's been through this year's nasty bout of the flu?

Hi, Jessica. Sorry that you have the flu! I had the flu several years ago. I soaked in Epsom salt, drank bone broth, diffused Immune Strength essential oil, drank plenty of water and took Vitamin D3. I didn't take any type of medication. I felt like I was hit by a bus and if I remember correctly it took a while for me to get my strength back. Take care and I hope you feel better soon.

Vitamin C, vitamin D, zinc and elderberry to boost the immune system. I agree with the bone broth and Epson salt soaks. Also hydration like unflavored pedialyte (I mixed it with LaCroix or Perrier).
I gargled with salt water and irrigated my sinuses to prevent an sinus infection or tonsillitis, if I could.
I’m sorry you are having to go through that.
