Thank you for posting. Very helpful. I think this partially explains Mom's antibiotic resistance.

I have successfully weaned myself off of Zantac several weeks ago. It took a while. It was harder to do than I thought it would be but I took it slow and titrated down. I had a few days that I had to use a couple Rolaids but my reflux is reduced and my digestion is better. I rarely take anything for acid reflux now and I do think it’s likely my stomach acid has returned to normal.

Just had to share! 🙂
