Cramps

Post by Daba »

Does anyone have any suggestion of how to relieve cramps? It could be stress from all that is going on with Covid 19, but I've had more losses stools than usual and three days this week with cramps. Any suggestions? I've been on Busdesonide since January. I've been taking that in the morning and Pepto during the day and before bed. Thanks.

A heating pad might help. Imodium might help, but so should Pepto, and you're already taking that. If you've been taking budesonide since January, and still don't have relief, there may be something in your diet that's causing the problem, but of course it's always possible for stress to cause symptoms.

It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.

Thanks. Emailed my GI to see if she has any different suggestions. I used a heating pad last night.
