Some good news

Post by annie oakley »

Ok.......The old cutomer service people I worked for on the xm radio accounts called and asked me to come In. I will start for them on the 3rd of April. It's going to be 8:00 am to 4:30 Pm every day but Sunday and Wednesday, those two days will be off days. I will be able to ride to work with Mike every day. Except his days of which Saturday will be the only day I'll have to drive alone. I would rather go there for more money until the railroad commission or the shelter calls (If they do) than go to the convience store for less money and more work. I will be on a computer all day and sitting or standing if I want. Breaks and Lunch. So what do ya'll think? Maybe now we can crawl up out of the $ hole we have gotton into. We have already started that, but my having a job will help. Love to all Oma

Oma,

That sounds like a good arrangement to me, too. Riding to work with Mike, will save a lot of gas, and unnecessary wear and tear on your truck, too, (to say nothing of eliminating some of the stress that driving can cause these days). The miles can add up fast on a work commute.

Yes the miles can add up. This way if the RR commission calls or the shelter....even better....but if they don't I have a job. Yahoo! :graduate: Love Oma

Congratulations, Oma. You deserve the best and this sounds a lot better than a convenience store. I know you really want the shelter job and the critters need you so my prayer is for that. :cat: Love, Carol

Oma, I think this sounds great! How nice to save money on gas, not have to drive yourself, and not have to learn a brand new job, and new people. Those things are as draining as the job itself. And it buys you security while something better comes along, if that's what you want.

Yay! Love, Marsha

Sounds like a great plan!

It is so hard to not worry about it but things will work out! I am sure of it!
