Anybody else on Imuran now? Need some positive feedback

Anybody else on Imuran now? Need some positive feedback

I was diagnosed with Lymphocytic MC in January. I have been on Budesonide which is not working. Mesalamine and cholestymine both have not worked. I am trying to be extremely careful with my diet, but it seems that I am getting worse instead of better. My GI wants to put me on Imuran, and I am also trying to get a second opinion from a GI specialist at the University of Michigan. My GI wants to put me on Imuran because nothing is working, I'm afraid to eat, and it's effecting me emotionally. However, the side effects of Imuran scare me, and during the time of Covid 19, I'm afraid of being immunosuppressant.
