Imuran -- any positive experiences?

Post by Daba »

I was diagnosed with Lymphocytic MC in January. My GI put me on Budesondie which still has not worked. She tried Mesalamine which made it worse and Cholestrymine which didn't help. It seems that though I am following not eating: gluten, dairy, fresh vegetables, fresh fruit, soy, etc. I am getting worse. My family wants me to get a second opinion from a specialist at the University of Michigan, but who knows when that will happen? In the meantime, she wants me to go on Imuran, which scares me. I've read horrible side effects, and during the Covid 19 time, I am afraid of being immune-suppressant. If you have had any positive results, please, please share them with me.
Thank you
