Buffalo Cheese?
Hello everyone!! It has been a while!! I think that I am in remission thanks to this forum! I have not D since december 2019!!!! I have been able to reintroduce new foods!!! I wanted to ask to Tex if I can have ricotta cheese from buffalo? I think it has casein A2 that is different feom A1 that is from Cows?
Ingrid
Hello Ingrid,
It's great to see that you are in remission. Whether you can tolerate cheese from buffalo milk depends on the type of buffalo. If they are true old world buffalo, then you might be able to tolerate it. Try a little. If those buffalo are American bison though, then it probably wouldn't be safe because all bison carry DNA from domestic cattle these days.
The only milk source that's safe for everyone is the milk of cameloids (camels, llamas, alpacas, guanacos, and vicuñas) and mares (including zebras and wild asses).
I hope it will work for you.

It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.
