Has anyone ever heard of this treatment? It was on a website called Oxford Academy, but it won't let me read the whole article. It says I do not have access. Below is the info from the page.

Hi Kristen,

That project was based on using Manuka honey, and the authors claimed that it treated LC, but not CC.

I noticed that they're members of Research Gate (I'm also a member), so I requested a full PDF of the paper. If they ever get around to uploading it, Research Gate will let me know, and I'll email you a copy.

It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.

I also am very interested in the Honey Lavage treatment for LC. I have had MC for over 10 years and Budesonide worked well until recently and now I have gone backwards. I recently had a colonoscopy and now I am diagnosed with LC. Trying Prednisone but no results. Nothing is working. Please let me know about the Honey Lavage. What works with LC? I'm getting desperate. Thank you so much.

The authors never gave me permission to download the article (which is very, very unusual on Research Gate), so I'm guessing that the article has been exposed as a fake. Trust me, if it was that easy, we'd all be treating ourselves with Manuka honey.
