Happy Hump Day Everyone

Post by Mars »

Today is going to be another hot one here. Hubby decided to go look for a pool. I've only been asking him for one for a couple of years!

Guess I can use the excuse that it is needed for stress relief! LOL

Hope everyone has a teriffic day! See ya soon!

Tell me about hot. We went from 40s and 50s to 80s in about 2 days! And I really like 60s and 70s weather. Been muggy too. Ah well, its got the garden growing (and the lawn  ).

I'm off to another fun day at work...got a meeting with a contractor and the state this morning that my boss couldn't attend.

Well, Marsha, we'll tell you all about it next winter too when we hit -10 or -20!   I like it a wee bit cooler than 80s, but warmer than -10. Fickle us northerners are, aren't we?

I'm so into complaining about the temperature - I have this teeny weeny window of comfort: from about 76-80. Outside of that, I'm a big old whiney-but. I do really hate being cold more than being hot. Except I hate being hot and humid, too. See what I mean?

I'm getting too warm at 75 normally. LOL
My husband says I only have a 2 degree tolerance.
I'll take cold over hot and humid any day, but the cold can come from an AC as good as "outside temps".

Marsha-

I am picky too - I like your window - maybe a little warmer....we have had a long rainy winter and I am sick of it (drizzling today - unheard of for CA in June)...we also had rain in Sept./Oct. last year - also unusual...I want a refund for this - we pay big bucks to live where the weather is good

Hmmm my son's t-ball team party is tonight at the neighborhood pool....I wonder if there is a "plan B"....and it is oddly humid as well - yuck - I hate that *damp* feeling!

Well Mary I'd have to say it's a good thing you don't live here on the "Wet Coast". We get sooooo much rain. But, boy, is eveything ever nice and green and when the :sun: shines it is spectacular! Of course it's :raincloud: right now :???:

Happy Wednesday all

Good Wednesday Morning to you all too!

It's 9:30am here in Alaska, about 55 degrees and overcast. Should be a nice day and reach 65 if were lucky but I would LOVE a temp of 85!

Give me the sun and warm temps and I feel GOOD :barbell:

Hope you all have a GREAT day.

Love,
Joanna

Dear Joanna,
Yeah, but I used to be from the Pacific NW, and when you're used to long winters, springtime temps of 45 are good enough to go waterskiing! So I bet it is really nice there!

Marsha - quit laughing! You are soooooo silly!

I love the hot heat of Arizona! Miss it terribly. When it hits 80 degrees here, the humidity makes it unbearable. You can't take a deep breath if you want to. Makes it hard with plurisy too. I noticed that it (plurisy) was acting up again today - humid and hot!

We here in PA are sweltering in the 90s since last Sunday. The heat and humidity made me very ill but today I am feeling somewhat better. We are looking at this through the weekend.

Hard to believe, but we get a monsoon season here. About July 10-Sept1, it is so humid you would think it was Brazil. Nooobody outside the area talks about it, though! Just "but it's a dry heat" :blah: :blah: :blah:
