SunFiber and Psyllium husk

Post by annaewa56 »

Is there anyone here who has been helped by consuming SunFiber or Psyllium husk to thicken the watery diarrhea and to feed Butyrate producing bacteria?

I used to have psyllium husk quite a bit and my stools were definitely thicker but the stomach pains were much worse. It’s pure fibre I believe and I believe we’re supposed to stick to low fibre while we’re inflamed...but I’m new here so I’m sure someone else will know a lot more then me!

I have used Viva Naturals organic psyllium husk powder for years and it works well for thickening stool and for me, lowering frequency. You have to find your dosage or it can cause bloating. I use this along with diet changes, supplements etc.
