Anyone Else React To Agar?

I can't tolerate seaweed in sushi. Either it has too much fiber or has soy sauce in it that has gluten. I stay away from sushi that has sauces or other obvious gluten containing ingredients such as imitation crab tempura shrimp. Of course I live in land locked Amarillo Texas so most sushi around here is not that good.
