Enterolab question
Hello. I am about to order the tests from enterolab for A1 and C1 panels. I was wondering if anyone has over ordered any of the other tests that would show malabsorption/malnutrition and if it’s worth doing.
Re: Enterolab question
Hi,
Vegans and vegetarians order the A2 and C2 Panels, but otherwise, the A1 and C1 Panels provide the most beneficial information for your money. A few of us do order the fat malabsorption test (I did), but I'm not convinced that information is particularly helpful — it just gives us something else to worry about if it comes back with bad results. And remember, those test results will depend on how much fat we have in our diet when we collect the sample. The point is, we already know that most of us have a malabsorption problem because of the inflammation and intestinal damage, but that problem will resolve automatically as we get our MC under control and our digestive system heals.

It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.
