That is really interesting and explains a lot of what happens to people who have contracted Ross River Virus, a mosquito-borne virus (mentioned in the article), which I contracted almost a year ago, about 6months prior to getting symptoms of LC. I actually believe that the RRV triggered the LC, particularly as the biopsy I had said that the inflammation was not what they would typically see in LC, but was milder. I may not even have LC as such, but rather inflammation in my gut triggered by the after effects of RRV, similar to what they describe in the article...the result of a "cytokine storm". Thanks for sharing.
