I'm scheduled to get my second vaccine tomorrow. I got the Moderna, just wondering how many have had the vaccinations and how've they done.
I will follow up and let you know how I did. I'm not apprehensive at all, I'll be thrilled to get it.
Love,
Connie

Good for you.

It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.
Re: 2nd vaccination
I am a PhD virologist, and I finally got my second Pfizer shot this week with no complications either time. The only problem was getting an appointment for the second. If you aren't computer literate and at the computer all day and most of the night, you will miss your chance to get a slot! I am in Memphis TN, and the county government has totally mishandled appointments, like didn't give one for the second shot when you got your first! Now that the J&J one shot is available in large quantities and the city has taken over distribution, things will get better.
Now the fact that I got no complications may mean the shots were no good, but I don't usually react much to shots--typhoid is the only one that I remember ever bothering me. It could also mean that my immune system is defective; people with IBD and old folks know all about that!
Anyway, even though I still have to wear a mask in public (and this is because the data aren't all in yet on if vacinees can infect others, not because it doesn't) I now feel able to get a haircut, which I desperately need. I didn't realize how thin my hair actually is until it grew out. My granddaughter, who is a type 1 diabetic, and her roommates all came down with COVID19 about a month ago. She had the worst case of the 4, but survived and didn't need to go to hospital. Now she can visit me again! I am a widow who lives alone, so this has been a very lonely time. Now I may even go to the movies and see "Nomad."
