I have LC. I had my first shot and due for the second one on February 13th. I have always reacted to all vaccines but the pharmacist recommended I start Benadryl the day before and continue for the next four days. I did that and I had no issues except a sore arm for a couple of days. I have felt no different since I received it.

I got my first Pfizer vaccine Friday. I had no issues at all. I do anticipate having a reaction from the 2nd one but I have a ways until that happens. I had a reaction to the 2nd Shingles shot and also the Pneumonia shot. As my pcp tells me, it just means your body is adjusting to it. Better to have a reaction than not!

I had the Moderna vaccine last week and had hardly any reaction...... just mild soreness in arm overnight.

I've heard from a number of people that the second dose is worse for some people, like having a mild case of the flu for a few days.

I had my second dose of Moderna yesterday. I didn't have any problems what so ever. I was so pleased.
Hope you do ok with your second one.
