Has anyone ever tried this product?

Banatrol Plus
Controls the length of time and severity of diarrhea naturally
Effective relief from diarrhea associated with C diff, tube feeding, antibiotics, and oncology therapy
Two sources of soluble fiber; banana flakes and transgalactooligosaccharide prebiotic
Works by solidifying the stool, not by stopping gut motility
Low in lactose, Gluten Free
Can be used as soon as C diff is suspected
The prebiotic replenished the beneficial bacteria in the gut
Can be added to beverages or soft foods like applesauce cereals, puddings or shakes
Collagenous Colitis, Benign Cramp Fasciculations in lower legs, Thyroid and High Cholesterol

I've never heard of it, so this post probably won't be much help, but I noticed that the description says low lactose. That suggests that it contains dairy products or dairy derivatives, so it might very well contain casein or casein derivatives. At any rate, that raises a red flag, so it might be a good idea to check the label carefully for any derivatives of dairy products, because casein is a much bigger problem than lactose.

Wow, Tex good eye! I looked at the ingredients and did not see that. I cant believe they would use this in a medical setting because what if a person was Lactose Intolerant? Whew!

I bought some but have not used it. It does contain milk. I did not have an issue with casein on my Enterolab tests so am thinking I should be okay with that part. I am a bit concerned about a prebiotic. I will let everyone know when I try it.
