Cefdinir

Post by terre »

I have been prescribed Cefdinir for bronchitis. After researching, I asked the doctor if he could prescribe Zithromax instead.
He said it would not work as well, but is sending in a script. After researching..."Dr. Internet" stated that the Z-pack is prescribed for bronchitis.

I have been doing fairly well with MC and don't want to upset the apple cart. I know all antibiotics can cause D, but from my time spent here, I thought the Z-pack would be less likely to put me in a flare. What I read regarding the Cefdinir made me pause.

Any input would be appreciated. Thank you.

Hi,

In my opinion, you made the best choice.

It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.

So good to hear from you Tex...thank you for your reply. I hope all is well with you.

I pop in from time to time to use the research tool or ask a question. INVALUABLE! The potty people played an important part in my not losing my mind after being diagnosed with MC.

Yes, I still reference your book!

Blessings,

Hi Terry,

it's always good to hear from you, too. I'm doing well, thank you. Just getting older and uglier, as the years seem to fly by. I gather you're doing well, too, outside of the bronchitis. I hope the Z-pack knocks it right out.

All my best,

Tex
